Flock Competition 2026
A great week for Sherborne Poll Dorsets. Finishing runners up in the large flock section to overall champion Sandy Lane flock. Winning the best group of stud rams and best junior ram with Sherborne Idaho. Congratulations to all the winners and a big thanks to Tommy Wright and Jeremey Durrant for giving up their precious time to judge.
And just to prove that pedigree polls do perform- 345 ewes were scanned this week. A 29 day single sire tupping resulted in 90% in lamb at 170%, with 31 sets of triplets! A big thanks to John Garthwaite for braving the heat.
